Where Is The Last Monster In Lurelin Village Location And Quest Details

Liberating Lurelin Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is one of the most memorable side adventures in the game. Players must clear out a full invasion force of pirate monsters to help the coastal town recover. However, many adventurers find themselves stuck at the very end with a tiny sliver remaining on the Monster Forces health bar.
Starting the Ruffian-Infested Village Quest
To begin the liberation effort, travel to the southeastern portion of Hyrule in East Necluda. You can speak with Bolson and Mayor Rozel near the Sifumim Shrine overlooking the village to initiate the Ruffian-Infested Village quest. They will ask Link to clear out all the invading monsters so the villagers can safely return.
The task requires players to defeat every single enemy within the settlement borders. A health bar named Monster Forces tracks your overall progress as you fight through the camps. If you leave the immediate area or fast travel away, the entire encounter resets.
Locating the Hidden Last Monster
The most common culprit for the missing final monster is a lone Bokoblin hiding inside the Lurelin Village Well. This well is located near the village entrance on the western side of the settlement. Look closely at the opening of the well to spot faint smoke rising from the camp fire inside.
Simply jump down into the cavern below to confront the lone enemy sitting by his campfire. Once you defeat this final foe, a cutscene will immediately trigger to confirm that the village is fully liberated.
Alternative Locations for Straggler Enemies
If you have already cleared the well and still have a tiny bit of health left on the bar, check the pirate ship docked in the bay. Enemies occasionally fall overboard into the ocean during combat and end up swimming around the ship hull. Using a bow to snipe these stragglers from the deck usually resolves the issue quickly.
Another common spot includes the ruins around the center of town where roaming Lizalfos might wander off into nearby bushes. Whistling or climbing palm trees to scan the area can help draw out remaining targets. Once all threats are eradicated, you can begin rebuilding the town with Bolson.
